LESCO New Connection Online Application Stepwise Procedure

You can easily submit your new connection application by following these steps. If you encounter any difficulties, you can complete the procedure by watching our video for guidance.

  • Visit ENC (Electricity New Connection System) to fill and submit application
  • Choose the type of connection: domestic, agriculture, tubewell, commercial, industrial, residential colonies, general services, street lights, and temporary connection.
  • Enter your NTN number (National Tax number). Mostly, it is your CNIC number if you are filer
  • Enter your Sales tax registration number (STRN)
  • Select your electricity-provider company, i.e., LESCO, in case you are living in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, and Kasur districts.
  • Select your sub-division (your district)
  • Select your status: owner or rental.
  • Enter your name in the applicant name field.
  • Enter your father’s or husband’s name.
  • Put your CNIC number
  • Enter your current address
  • Enter Mobile Numbers
  • Enter Contact person’s name that will be available at place of connection during visit and installation of meter
  • Contact persons Name, mobile number and current address
  • The contact person has a relationship with the applicant, such as a son, wife, neighbor, or tenant.
  • Enter your email address, but it is optional.
  • Enter number of meter already installed at current address.
  • Minimum load required
  • Address where a new connection is required
  • Enter the reference number of the neighbor’s bill
  • Enter Name and Address of neighbor
  • Select the meter installation company. LESCO receives electric meters from two companies. The companies are Sajjad Brohers and Shahid & Co.

Before filling out the LESCO new connection application form, make sure to scan these documents using your mobile phone or a scanner and save them. Remember, ensure that each document’s size does not exceed 300 KB, as larger files may not upload successfully on the online portal.

  • Copy of computerized identity card (CNIC)
  • CNIC of one witness
  • The electricity bill of any one of the neighbors.
  • Property documents that include the “Fard” and “Registry or property complete file.
  • In the case of a rented house, property documents of the owner and tenant agreement are required.
  • LESCO recommended the wiring expert’s satisfactory report.
  • Applicants Undertaken or LESCO New Connection Affidavit (Biyan-e-Halfi)
  • Now you can submit the documents by agreeing to the terms and conditions of LESCO.

LESCO New Connection Demand Notice Charges

In terms of connection type, the fee for a demand notice varies based on the meter type.

Charges for a domestic single-phase meter start at 10,500 rupees, while for a three-phase meter, they range from 33,500 rupees to 235,000 rupees.

If you are a LESCO consumer, you can easily download LESCO duplicate bills by CNIC number and reference number.

Change of Name, Tariff and Load of LESCO Connection

Here are the simple steps to follow to change your name, tariff, or load with LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company)

  • Visit the official page, “ENC,” for any changes.
  • On the left side of the page, click on the change option for LESCO New Connection.
  • The webpage shows you three options: change of name, change of tariff, and change of load.
  • Click on your desired option.
  • If you want to change your name, you should enter the old name and the new name in the connection.
  • If you want to change the tariff, enter both your current tariff category and the new tariff you want to switch to.
  • If you want to change the load, then enter both your current load category and your desired load category.
  • You have to provide attested copy of CNIC
  • Previous month bill and property document like registry or fard.

LESCO New Connection estimated time

The estimated time for a new connection depends on the type of connection category. Following are the steps that are needed to install new connection

  • Fill out an application form and submit it to the nearest office. Get the Receipt and seniority number
  • The LESCO officer will visit the premises and generate a report about whether or not the connection is granted. The applicant is also informed.
  • The estimated cost of connection is generated
  • A demand notice is issued that can be collected by visiting the office or received through mail at the mailing address.
  • Deposit the demand notice fee in the appropriate bank and send the receipt to the LESCO office.
  • Submit Wiring report
  • LESCO officer verifies submission of dues and generates a priority list
  • A connection order is issued to store
  • The store will accept the order and provide him with the connection items. Items are Electricity meter, wire and connection kit
  • Items are handed over to connection officer
  • The sub-division officer (SDO) or Assistant Manager Operation (AMO) office will install the new connection at the required premises.
